“Soft & medium chewers” refers to dogs that chew gently or moderately. Dogs that rapidly break toys apart or gulp pieces need a different choice.

Our chews are designed for soft and medium chewers. Every dog plays differently, and no chew is indestructible.
Stay close during play and give the chew a quick check before and after each session. If you spot cracks, loose pieces or wear that makes it small enough to swallow, take it away and replace it.
Need a little help choosing? Start with your dog’s chewing style and choose a size that fits. For questions about your dog’s teeth, your veterinarian can help.

Make every playtime

A few simple habits, from choosing a chew to putting it away.
Start with their chewing style.
Greenheart is designed for soft and medium chewers. If your dog quickly destroys toys or gulps pieces, choose an alternative suited to that behavior.
Choose a comfortable fit.
Follow the product’s size guidance. The chew should be too large to swallow. Check that openings cannot become caught around your dog’s jaw or paws, and keep smaller chews away from larger dogs.
Think about their teeth.
Consider your dog’s age and dental condition. Ask your veterinarian before offering a chew to a dog with damaged, loose or sensitive teeth.
Stay part of the play.
Supervise every session and check the chew as your dog uses it. No chew is indestructible. Remove it if cracks, loose pieces or sharp edges appear.
For chewing, not eating.
Greenheart chews are play products, not treats. Stop use if your dog starts swallowing pieces. Contact your veterinarian if you suspect a piece has been swallowed.
Watch their comfort.
Stop the session if you notice mouth discomfort, gum irritation or bleeding. Ask your veterinarian about the next step.
Give it a quick check.
Remove hair and debris; follow the product’s cleaning instructions. Replace damaged chews or those worn small enough to swallow. Wear, rather than a fixed calendar, guides replacement.
